Down to business and the main agenda item was future meetings and the preferred format/day/venue etc. The Phantom Winger Supercar Sunday events seem to have become a victim of their own success with difficultly parking if you don't arrive before 9am. The service for breakfast has also become very slow. Various suggestions were made for venues and the general consensus was to continue with the 'run out for a pub meal' format (or just a drink for those who prefer not to eat). However, Heath is going to put a questionnaire on the new website (www.tvr-blackpool.co.uk) with a number of options - I'll let you know when this is in place as we would like to have input from as many members as possible. The next meeting is pencilled in as Thursday 17th November - venue tbc!
Suggestions were also made about a venue for the Christmas meal (a Sunday lunchtime). The Queens Hotel in Lytham was one idea but I have since looked into this and they don't do their festive menu on Sundays. Alternatively, the Cartford Inn at Little Eccleston would be quite central for everyone. This is the link to the menu

If everyone is happy with this I will give them a call for availability.
As we are now well into autumn, car events to attend seem to be a bit thin on the ground. However, the NEC Classic Motor Show takes place on the 11th - 13th November and discount codes for tickets are available in Sprint magazine.
Thoughts for future activities/events included:
Clay pigeon shooting
Karting (indoors)
Treasure Hunt
Drive in movie
Motor Museum at Newby Bridge (breakfast meet?)
Hawkshead Brewery
