Tinker Brook Tasmin test Feb 11
Jim and I will be still buzzing from our 2 hour test session in the
Tasmin at the 3 sisters track today. ANTASTIC!
We did about 50 laps
between us and can't stop smiling.
February Update Feb 11
I have now fitted the larger 1 litre oil catch tank, internal battery isolator and battery terminal cover. Whilst working at the back of the dash I discovered a heater motor that was supposed to blow cold air on the screen. This has obviously not worked in the past and an additional hot / cold electric fan had been fitted to the roll bar to blow on the screen. To cut the story short I adapted some heater outlet parts from my old Case Tractor and have now rigged the newly discovered fan to blow cold air onto the drivers.
Jim and I have also booked a slot at the 3 Sisters track in Wigan for a shake down test drive. The MSA scruitineer has also been contacted to arrange for a “log book” to be created. Now I need to find the £105 entry fee for the first event!
