David Price picks up his prize 28 Sept 10

David Price was the winner of the auction prize of the TVR Factory Sign at the recent BNG / BH. Brian Hosfield, of Lawfielld Engineering, had arranged for David to come to the factory and have his car photographed in the old Final Assembly area with the sign still in position. David was on his way to the Lake District for a birthday
weekend treat and called in at Bristol Avenue for the photo session. John Mleczek met us at the factory and arranged a great morning for David in allowing him to take photo's of his car in many places in the old factory site. Do any of you ex factory lads and lasses recognise where they were taken?

I think I can claim to be the last person to use a screwdriver in the Assembly area as I went up the ladder to remove the sign for David. It was only when I got up close to it I realised it had holes in it from an air rifle or something similar so it does have some excellent provenance. I also took the opportunity to take a few other photos in the building.
