Club Meeting 27th December 2009
by Dave Welton
1. Thanks to all who turned out it was a nice relaxing way to spend a few hours in the pub. I think postponing the run to Tan Hill was a wise move as I still could not get any two wheel drive vehicles up our drive or down the lane. The members were asked what they wanted to do with the monies collected in the raffles this year. The feeling was for a change from our normal end of season sponsorship and trip to Oulton Park as it’s not the same without a local interest
We also noted as Russ L pointed out we don’t have to spend all the money at one event we could spread it out. I will ask again at a future meeting when more people are present. |

2. Members were asked what other events / trips they would like to be organised and the following were proposed:-
|
|
3. Autosport International is on at the NEC from 15th to 17th of Jan, Russ L stated that last year you could order on line and get 2 tickets for £30. I have had a quick look and can’t see similar offers this year and the price I saw was £29 + £2 postage. I think there was a number quoted on Piston Heads that got the discount Russ L mentioned and I will have a look into it in the next few days. |

| 4. Russ L will run the January meeting on the 31st as I will be away on holiday. |
Club Meeting 29th November 2009
- Dave Cahill stated there had only been 7 requests for a Blackpool region Calendar to be produced, so it's not financially viable this year. Dave has said he will collect photo's throughout next year from you all and will have an earlier start to preparing a 2011 calendar.
- Christmas lunch numbers were increased by a further 7 people and we now have 30 going to the Ship at Elswick on the 13th December Meet at the Ship at 12:00.
- Final details were collected for the Isle of Man Trip in April next year and I will now make the reservations and come back to you with final costs etc
- With John Mleczek standing down as R.O. the members agreed we should seek a position in the club that recognises John's 30 years service in the TVR factory and his 12 years leading the Blackpool club. I will pursue this with the main club.
- New officers were appointed by the Regions members and Russ Pinfold has taken on running the Blackpool web site, Russ Larcombe becomes Deputy R.O. , and Dave Welton has taken over as R.O.
