S Club 2010
This weekend (22nd-23rd May) saw the annual get together of the S series of cars. As has happen the last few years the event takes place at a location with other attractions. This year the event took place at the RAF Museum at RAF Cosford between Telford and Wolverhampton.
A good turn out of 60 S's and as usual a good turn out of other models. One other thing that was done this year was on the Saturday some time was booked to allow cars to do 1/4mile runs down the runway.
There was a good turnout from the Blackpool region, Paul Taylor, Chris Chatfield, and Kevin went down on the Saturday and I went down on the Sunday.
This years chosen Charity was Help For Heroes, with a total of £600 being raised via the raffle.
The choice of the RAF Museum was another excellent choice of location, with an excellent museum of old aircraft artifacts to give you a break from tyre kicking, or to get out of the heat. They have some very nive aircraft on display, to me the highlights being the TSR2, Vulcan and Victor
