Pre 80's Meet Report by Dave Cahill and Pictures by Neil Russell 20th June
The pre 80s TVR meeting, which is always an interesting event, was held Sunday 20th at Newark Air Museum. With the annual kit car show in the next field, the air museum next door and fly pasts by a DC3 and a Hurriacan, there was plenty for everyone. Even the weather was kind turning warm after a slightly chilly start.
51 pre. 80s cars attended and with 31 ‘newer’ TVRs in support, just about all models were represented.
Dave Cahill, Chris Chatfield, Neil Russell and Paul Taylor represented the Blackpool club.
There were many very tasty cars on show, but final honours went to –
1st 3000s (Burgundy) 2nd Grantura 1800 (Pale blue) 3rd Tuscan (Greeen)
