The next club Meeting is on Thursday the 14th of June and it is proposed we have a run out to the Ribchester Arms in Ribchester for some drinks and food if you want to eat. They have a large car park and plenty of outside seating if the weather is good.
Those in the Blackpool area can meet up at the Kingfisher Arms in Kirkham at 6:30 for the run over to Ribchester. If you want to go straight to the pub we should be there at about 7:15.
The post code for the Ribchester Arms is PR3 3ZP

What a turn out , good of you all who came over to join the convoy from Wrea Green to Lytham St Georges Parade .
Good weather too. Oh we got told off by the local councillor who wrote down our registrations for parking on double yellows opposite a bus stop !! Then as she was telling us off Dave Walsh arrived... driving the wrong way down a one way 🙈🙈😆😆 superb.
We led the precession through Lytham escorted by a full band 10/10k here to edit.
Bill and I had a Great day in the sunshine at Aintree this weekend. Bill had a personal best time and I was pleased with my times as well. Bill also was suprised at the Drivers briefing where he was presented a trophy for winning his class in the SD34 Championship. The Caterham academy were well behaved for their first event anywhere and the 58 Caterhams stayed mainly on the track so we managed 6 runs which was good value for money.
.Hi folks , Meeting this Saturday morning around the Grapes pub / Wrea Green at 10am
Then a convoy to Lowther gardens Lytham ( parking with other classics on the adjacent road)
Parade starts about 11 am ,then after a car display on the Green opp The Queens pub
Dave and fellow Sprinters are going to Aintree for the day
All looking forward to either event
Hoping for more Sunshine please ☀️☀️
Click The membership of the Region continues to increase with 21 members present at our April Meeting. The fact Heath brought in 30 cupcakes to celebrate his Birthday had nothing to do with it! A total of four new members have joined us this year so Grif, an S2 and a wedge have joined the ranks and a 4.2 Cerbera should be in attendance next time.
April was quite a busy month with much discussion at the Club meeting regarding communication in the region; this resulted in Mark Warburton agreeing to take over the website from Dave and hopefully coordinate the information on the website and Facebook so that all regional members, and others as well, can see what is going on. Also a number of members kindly agreed to organise some events and prepare inputs for Sprint Magazine.
Mark and Jim went to Donington Park for the GT Cup event in mid- April. There was some very nice (and seriously quick!) cars out including the Yellow Cerbera of Michael Saunders in the GT Cup. Michael had some problems in practice and then in the race when he lost all brakes and went straight into the wall at high speed. The car was badly damaged but thankfully Michael was OK. We hope the car can be repaired and for out later in the season.
Mark and Nathan took part in a Track Day at Oulton Park in mid- month and have now joined Liverpool M.C. in preparation for their first Sprint event!! Now we just need Dave Walsh to finish his Chimeara and join us.

Bill has now been christened the Rain God after blowing away everyone on a wet Saturday. He was also pretty good on the Sunday finishing 4th. As usual I just made up the numbers!
